One of the best-known designs in the Seanamarena family, Poone centres on the corncob motif. The Seanamarena story dates to the 1930s and to Charles Hendry Robertson’s trading store in Leribe. Aranda records the corncob as a Basotho symbol associated with fertility and wealth.
