Refunds & Returns
1. Return Authorisation
Please contact Africa Blanket before returning an item so that we can provide the correct return instructions. This does not limit any return or cancellation right available to you under applicable law.
2. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If an item is defective, damaged, materially different from its description, or you have received the incorrect item, please contact us at admin@africablanket.co.za with your order number and photographs showing the problem.
Where a return is covered by applicable consumer law, Africa Blanket will honour the remedies and return costs required by that law.
3. Online Purchase Cooling-Off Rights
Where the cooling-off provisions of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act apply, you may cancel an eligible online purchase without reason or penalty within 7 days after receiving the goods.
In these circumstances, you are responsible only for the direct cost of returning the goods, as permitted by law.
Certain goods or transactions may be excluded from the statutory cooling-off provisions.
4. Other Change-of-Mind Returns
If a statutory cooling-off right does not apply, we may still consider a change-of-mind return at our discretion.
The item must be unused, undamaged and returned in its original condition and packaging.
Any return shipping costs or reasonable charges applicable to such a discretionary return will be confirmed before the return is authorised.
5. Condition of Returned Goods
Please take reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.
Where permitted by law, a reasonable deduction may be made if returned goods have been used, damaged or require restoration before they can be resold. This does not affect your rights where goods are defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise protected by applicable consumer law.
6. How to Request a Return
Email admin@africablanket.co.za with:
- your order number;
- the item you wish to return;
- the reason for the return; and
- photographs where the item is damaged, defective or incorrect.
We will reply with the appropriate return instructions.
