Shipping Policy – Africa Blanket

We aim to provide fast and reliable shipping within South Africa and internationally. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Information
- All orders are subject to stock availability.
- In case of a stock discrepancy, we will contact you to confirm whether you prefer to wait for back-ordered items or receive a refund for unavailable items.
- Partial shipments may occur if all items are not available simultaneously.
2. Shipping Costs & Delivery
Domestic Shipping:
- Orders up to R1999: Flat rate of R280.
- Orders over R2000: Free shipping.
- Bulk orders: Delivery charges quoted on a case-by-case basis.
International Shipping:
- Shipping costs vary by destination and method, shown at checkout.
- Customers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and fees.
Processing & Delivery Timeframes
Processing Time:
Orders are processed within 3–5 business days.
Delivery Timeframes:
- Domestic: Typically 3–5 business days after processing.
- International: Estimated 5–7 business days after processing via UPS or FedEx.
Please note that delays may occur due to customs, weather, or other unforeseen factors. Africa Blanket is not responsible for such delays.
3. Shipping Addresses & Changes
- Customers must provide accurate and complete addresses.
- Changes can be made before dispatch.
- P.O. Box delivery is not available.
- Africa Blanket is not liable for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses.
4. Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)
- International orders are subject to your country’s import regulations.
- Duties and taxes are not included in shipping costs. Customers must pay these upon delivery.
- If delivery is refused due to customs or non-payment of duties, shipping costs and return fees are not refundable.
5. Returns, Refunds & Warranty Claims
- Authorisation required: All returns must be approved in advance. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
- Defective or damaged items: Notify us within 5 days with photos. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund.
- Warranty claims: Valid warranty claims must be submitted within 5 days. Customers pre-pay return shipping, reimbursed upon successful claim.
- Change-of-mind returns: Subject to your refund policy and statutory rights under the CPA.
All items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging.
6. Damaged or Lost Parcels
- Damaged in transit: Reject the parcel or contact customer service if already delivered.
- Lost parcels: Refund or replacement will be processed after the courier investigation confirms loss.
- Parcels are insured up to the courier-stated value.
7. Tracking
- Tracking links are provided upon dispatch.
- Customers can monitor delivery progress directly with the courier.
8. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch.
- If dispatched, cancellations follow the Refund & Returns Policy.
9. Insurance
- Parcels are insured for loss or damage as per the courier policies.
- Claims will be processed once courier investigations are complete.
10. Liability & Limitations
- Africa Blanket is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages due to shipping delays, customs issues, or lost shipments.
- We do not guarantee exact delivery dates; all timeframes are estimates.
11. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate shipping details.
- Pay applicable customs, duties, or taxes for international shipments.
- Inspect parcels upon delivery and report issues promptly.
12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
- Disputes should first be addressed via our customer service: africablanket@2od.co.za.
- These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
